I ran across a referral for a medical group in San Diego online from Dr. Joseph Mercola. I called this medical group since Dr. Mercola stated that they were the tops in the country for dealing with difficult medical cases. They actually referred me to Dr. McFadzean with a glowing report of her.
I started working with her last fall. I initially asked her specifically to work with me on my hormone levels. She did testing and saw the areas which were trouble spots for me. However, I could not tolerate the remedies. She also tried a few other things in working with me that I did not tolerate well. She was always so kind and understanding and LISTENED TO ME when I told her what was going on. She did not give up on me. She did some more testing on me and then decided to start me on the Lyme treatment. I would say that I have a long ways to go, but after 10 years and over 50 doctors - I have definitely found my doctor.
You will find Dr. McFadzean to be fair in her financial practices with you - she does not order tests or remedies for you that are not necessary. Most of them are very reasonably priced. She listens to you and to your body. I could not be more pleased or feel more confident with her expertise and professionalism. She is from the very best school in the U.S. for Naturopaths - Bastyr. She has done a lot of research and is staying up with the latest in treatments.
I have not had a need to go to see her at all. We have done our work by telephone. When bloodwork or saliva testing are needed, you can have that done at your lab and overnighted to her.
Dr. M is wonderful because she will specifically tailor a treatment for your body based on what she hears you saying. Yours might be totally different than mine. We had to try a few before we got to what I needed, but believe me - she got to it and rather quickly.
